I'm getting married next month, and we've decided on a post-apocalyptic theme wedding. Christchurch feels like it's a post-apocalyptic world after all the earthquakes. It's been great from a creative perspective though, as we're making our own costumes and jewelry, and making decorations etc for the big day.

I finally finished my baby quilt! I'm really happy with how it turned out so I hope the parents like it too. It got delivered earlier today but I didn't stick around to see the wrapping come off. *crosses fingers* It's a bit strange to not have a big project on after so many months. I'm trying to catch up on the things I haven't been doing in my spastic effort to finish the quilt. I've been hemming pants and taking in waistlines on skirts. Not to mention the resuable shopping bags I owe my bro... I saw the first of the spring daffodils in the park this morning, so here's hoping that the worst of winter is behind us!
